#ORGinAction Photo Contest: Show How Your .org Makes A Difference!

Are you an #ORGinAction? Whether you’re a small running club or a national nonprofit – you’re a part of the .org family because you’re an organization making an impact. It takes passionate people coming together to inspire change and make your community a better place. We want to show our appreciation for all that you do, so we’re launching the #ORGinAction social media photo contest to recognize the amazing organizations across the country giving back, building communities and making a difference in the world.

Today, December 4, 2017, through Friday, December 15, 2017, we are encouraging US-based organizations to share a photo or video showing their #ORGinAction for a chance to win a “thank you” prize from Public Interest Registry.

How The #ORGinAction Contest Works

To enter your organization in the contest, you must share an image, photo or video on Twitter or Instagram of your organization “in action” –  showcasing how your organization is making an impact in your community.  To qualify, all participants must tag or name their respective organizations on social media (if not submitting from the official organization account), tag @PIRegistry and include the #ORGinAction hashtag.

The Prize:

One grand prize winner will receive a GoPro camera to capture their organization “in action” in the future, as well as twenty-five (25) Amazon gift cards valued at $100 dollars each to distribute to the organization’s members, employees and/or constituents. Three finalists will also be awarded a GoPro camera.

The Fine Print

  • Entrants must be age 18 or older and must be a representative, member or participant of the organization. Organizations can submit directly by sharing the entry on its official social media account.
  • The organization must use a .org domain name, which may include, but is not limited to non-profits, corporations, religious organizations, community groups, charitable organizations and private foundations.
  • Entries will be judged based on whether your photo is compelling, creative and representative of your organizations work.
  • All submissions must adhere to the contest Terms & Conditions.

We can’t wait to see the unique ways your organization makes a difference!
