Public Interest Registry (PIR), the operator of the .ORG Family of Domains, today announced the conclusion of its Request for Proposal (RFP) process for its Registry Service Provider (RSP) capability.
PIR has selected Identity Digital as its RSP and the parties have executed an agreement to that end, the terms and conditions of which are subject to confidentiality provisions. “PIR would like to thank all the bidders for their hard work during this process,” said Rick Wilhelm, PIR’s CTO, “We received a number of very competitive bids that demonstrated extensive capability in the marketplace. We are excited to continue our work with Identity Digital and open a new chapter in our relationship.”
Identity Digital will provide support for all of PIR’s TLDs: .ORG, .charity, .foundation, .gives, .giving, .ngo, .ong, .орг, .संगठन , and .机构.
